Rhyzem

Rhyzem('ri:zəm) is a designer brand founded by Boqun Huang&Yinghua Wu in 2022 with the brand concept of combining Oriental romantic aesthetics with modern art, aiming to embody inclusive, poetic and sustainable ideas. Rhyzem always focuses on creating soft and fluid garment structures through pattern cutting to reflect romanticism aesthetics. Rhyzem's design combines the rigorous and detailed construction with the representation of the human body. The brand aims to achieve an aesthetic that breaks boundaries, presenting the power and romance that garments can embody through material and silhouette.

Rhyzem means fluid consciousness and is derived from the words "rhizome" and "rhythm". rhizome.rhizome, meaning tuber, is taken from the theory in Deleuze and Gauntali's philosophical work A Thousand Plateaus.It emphasizes a decentered conceptual form that subverts the reverence for inherent rules, forms and rights expressed in dichotomous thought. Rhythm, meaning rhythm and harmony, embodies the elegance and flow of classical romanticism, and poetry is the main theme of Rhyzem's brand aesthetic system.
