Unhidden is a multi award winning, socially responsible adaptive fashion brand for people with (and without) disabilities. Unhidden is the first adaptive brand to become a member of the British Fashion Council, and in 2021 was also the first adaptive brand to have retail space in multiple locations after partnering with co-retail start up Sook. Founded by Victoria Jenkins, a garment technologist and 14 year fashion industry veteran who has worked for both highstreet and high end names. She herself became disabled in her mid 20's which is what sparked the development of universal and adaptive design. The brand is about more than stylish, inclusive and ethically made design- it is also about creating equity for the disabled and chronic sick community through representation and self expression in fashion. Victoria wrote her first book 'The Little Book of Ableism' in early 2021 and continues to write, speak and advocate on disability awareness, accessibility and inclusive design. Her TedX talk goes live in summer 2022 and there are multiple collaborations coming out this year- Unhidden is also going to the US in September to take part in inclusive fashion shows as part of a group of adaptive designers.
